This That & The Other is a local publication that’s gained interest all over the Eastern Shore for the past 5+ years. As a member of this community, our goal is to bring forth the most interesting content available including art, humor and local events just to name a few. The content on these subjects is designed to inspire readers to get out and support their local businesses and get involved in the community. We strive to support the community that supports us!
The format of This That & The Other is exactly what it states in the name itself. Our aim is to appeal to the variety of citizens and visitors of the Eastern Shore, providing a fun and upbeat reading experience filled with eye-catching photos and illustrations on full color high gloss pages.
The Eastern Shore is well known for it’s artists and writers. A large portion of the content is allocated to local artists through articles of recognition along with information on book signings, art walks, craft shows, festivals, music and other creative events. Towns of the Eastern Shore have given a great contribution to the community through art, creativity, inspiration and the people themselves, which have made the towns so beautiful and unique.
We also feature local businesses and their owners in an effort to give them recognition throughout the community as well as a sprout in economic growth. New businesses are rapidly coming and going. As a “news and reviews” source we feel it is one of our responsibilities to give credit where it is due and to promote the good services by local businesses by introducing the owners and employees to community they serve.
Everyone loves to laugh. This publication wouldn’t be complete without a touch of humor. When you pick up this magazine you can always look forward to good jokes, funny stories, and stuff to make you smile. Our Tid Bits for Nit Wits section is filled with humorous facts, silly sayings and other enjoyable miscellaneous items to tickle your funny bone. We also like to keep the local scene in focus through our Around Town spread where you never know who you might run into, and we like to give you, our readers, a chance to contribute by sending in stories and original writings to our Writer’s Block and Storyteller sections.
We are constantly working to improve and adapt to our ever-changing surroundings. If there is anything you would like to see in the pages of TTATO, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Thanks for reading!!
